Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all Kayak Fundy tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and our guests enjoy their tours in a safe environment.

Should you need to cancel a Day Tour (including the 3-Hour “Search for Matthew’s Head”, the 2-Hour “Molly Kool Tour”, the Full-Day Tour “Log-Drivers Tour”, and Surfski Tours), you must let FreshAir staff know (by phone, or in person,) a minimum of 24 hours ahead of your scheduled tour start time in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your tour, or if you do not show up in time for your tour.

Please note, if you have made a reservation for a group and you need to change or amend the number of participants, this change must also be made 24 hours in advance of your tour time, otherwise you will be charged for any absent members.

For our Multi-day Tours: any cancellation or amendment to the number of participants must be made a minimum of 10 days in advance of the tour for a full refund, less a $100 administration fee. In the event of a cancellation less than 10 days in advance – no refund will be extended.

If Kayak Fundy cancels a tour because of weather, safety considerations, or insufficient numbers, a full refund of all paid deposits will be extended to our guests – excepting any administrative fees collected for the third-party credit card payment system.

All prices listed are “pre-tax” prices. When you make your reservation online, the relevant taxes are added to the bill before you pay. The tax rate in New Brunswick, Canada, is 15%.

Our 3rd-party booking services charge a processing fee of approximately 3% which will be added to your bill.  If you choose not to use our online booking services to make your reservation, we would be happy to manage your reservations and payment details by phone or by email (our toll-free number is 1-800-545-0020). Or if you are in the neighbourhood, please drop by! Our office hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm from May until September.

In the days after you complete your booking online, Kayak Fundy may contact you if we have any concerns about the Adventure you have booked.

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, Kayak Fundy staff will review reservations for youth and families to be certain that the tour you have booked is appropriate to your group. In the event that the weather has created challenging water conditions, we will try to contact you by phone or email to discuss whether you would like to change your reservation or rebook your tour. It is important that you provide us with a contact number to call. Our first priority is your safety.

Weather on the Bay of Fundy can be challenging, and strong winds are our chief concern. Please feel free to call our offices if you have any questions about what tour might be best for you.
